Pierre Mailhot & Son Plantations is a family farm, owned and operated by the Mailhot family since 1972.
Three generations of Mailhot, Pierre, Eric and Kevin are working today on our Christmas tree farm located in the beautiful Eastern Townships area.
We have chosen to primarily grow balsam firs which are among the favorite Christmas trees in North America. People enjoy balsam firs because of their distinctive aroma and dense dark green foliage.
The Eastern Townships region benefits from the ideal climate for balsam and fraser fir growing. This is why many Canadian Christmas tree growers, like Pierre Mailhot & Son Plantations are located in this same area. Having the proper climate is key for growing premium quality balsam firs using natural techniques in full respect of the environment.
